STILL LIFE with FLOWERS

Flower still life paintings consistently evoke interest, even awe at the beauty of the flora.

The golden age of this type of still life was in the 18th century, a time when we found new plant species and where and had a huge curiosity for the discovery of Nature.

When I paint a flower still life, resemblance to the real subject is the main criterion I am looking for.
